The formula to calculate the sample size is $$n = \frac{1}{R}(\frac{S}{C\bar{y}})^{2}$$ where $$R, S, C, \bar{y}$$ denote the CEAP2 response rate, sample standard deviation, coefficient of variation and sample mean, respectively.
